Three individuals accused of an attempted murder in Nagpur were subjected to a public parade by women police officers on Saturday evening. The accused have been identified as Vaibhav Ashok Tannelwar, aged 34, and his accomplices Sanket Gulabrao Wanjari, 24, and Tushar Dilip Palaspure, 25.
The trio allegedly attacked and stabbed 21-year-old Navi Devendra Ramteke in November, with the intention of killing him. Following the incident, the police registered a case, but the suspects remained at large for approximately three months.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Rashmita Rao, the Nandanvan police station team successfully apprehended the accused on Thursday. Senior Police Inspector Kailas Deshmane then ordered the public parade of the three men.
