Body of Murderous Cop Found in Yamuna River

The body of Gaurav Kumar Yadav, a Dial-112 driver constable, was discovered floating in the Yamuna River in Banda. This discovery occurred six days after he fatally attacked his three-year-old daughter and his wife. The incident took place on the night of January 14th after an argument with his wife, Shivani.

Yadav, who was posted at the Marka police station, used an iron pan to kill their daughter Pari when she intervened in the dispute. He also attacked Shivani, who is currently in a coma and undergoing treatment in Kanpur. After the brutal assault, Yadav locked their rented room and fled.

He reportedly went to the Yamuna bridge at Asothar village, left his mobile phones, and jumped into the river. A search was conducted by police and SDRF teams. Yadav's body, found by villagers on Monday morning, was bloated and in uniform. Police have informed his family members in Farrukhabad and his in-laws in Kanpur.
