Tragedy struck Goregaon West as a 45-year-old labourer, Manoharan Nadar, lost his life following a hit-and-run incident. Four days after being struck by an unknown vehicle on December 7th near his Siddharth Nagar home, Nadar succumbed to his critical injuries. The collision resulted in severe head trauma and bleeding, prompting immediate medical attention.
Nadar was first admitted to Trauma Care Hospital, where he was placed in the ICCU. His condition necessitated a transfer to Nair Hospital on December 9th, where he underwent a surgical procedure. Despite the medical intervention, his injuries proved fatal, and he passed away on December 11th.
Goregaon police acted swiftly, registering a First Information Report (FIR) on December 12th regarding the hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify the unknown vehicle and driver responsible for the fatal incident.
