A tragic hit-and-run incident has left a 24-year-old biker dead in Mumbai. The victim, Neelkanth Ingole, was traveling on his two-wheeler near the Centaur Hotel on Western Express Highway in Vile Parle (East) in the early hours of Wednesday.
The accident happened shortly after midnight as Ingole was returning from his Andheri home. He sustained severe head and internal injuries, succumbing to them at the scene. Authorities are diligently examining CCTV footage from the area to track down the vehicle involved.
Ingole, who pursued odd jobs for a living, was reportedly on his way to visit his wife and their three-month-old baby in Matunga. His sister filed a complaint, expressing the family's distress over the incident.
