The accusation is that they threatened and blackmailed the father of a man whose son had previously assaulted Zaveri, causing her to miscarry.
The incident leading to the charges occurred last month when Zaveri was allegedly assaulted by Rhythm Goyal, son of businessman Arvind Goyal, in a lift. Goyal and his companions reportedly attacked Zaveri while she was pregnant, resulting in a miscarriage. Goyal was initially arrested but later granted bail, a decision that was subsequently overturned by the High Court following an intervention by Zaveri.
