In Bhilgaon, Madhya Pradesh, a trader's home was targeted by masked gunmen on Monday night. The attack involved three individuals on a motorcycle firing shots at the residence.
Following the incident, the trader's family received disturbing communications through WhatsApp calls and voice notes. These messages included a video of the firing and a demand for ₹10 crore, with explicit threats to destroy the house.
Further threats escalated, including a voice call on Tuesday claiming the firing occurred on Monday night and threatening the entire family's lives. Multiple calls from foreign numbers were also reported.
CCTV footage confirmed the masked assailants' actions. A social media post by individuals identifying as 'Harry Boxer' and 'Arju Bishnoi' claimed responsibility, alleging connections to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's syndicate and issuing more threats.
