Mother Uses Gas Pump to Save Son from Stranger

A terrifying incident unfolded at a Marietta, Georgia gas station when a stranger, identified as Geron Tucker, attempted to grab a mother's young son. The encounter, captured on security footage, occurred just after midnight as the mother was refueling her car with her two children present. Tucker initially approached the vehicle, then returned and began following the child around the car. The mother bravely used the gas pump to keep Tucker away from her son, allowing the child to return safely to the car. Bystanders also stepped in to assist, and police were called.

Officers located Tucker after he drove away from the scene and discovered a THC vape in his car. Investigators have stated that the reason for his actions remains undetermined. Gas station management reported that Tucker had been asked to leave the property on multiple previous occasions, raising questions about earlier intervention.
