Detective: 911 Calls Withheld in Missing Mom Case

A former detective has proposed a chilling theory regarding the ongoing search for missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. Retired detective Bob Gilliam believes that investigators might be strategically withholding key details, including 911 call recordings, to protect sensitive information related to an active investigation. He stated that the public should not expect to hear these calls soon, implying the information within them could compromise the investigation or alert potential suspects.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen by her family on the evening of January 31st. Her son-in-law reportedly ensured she was safely inside her home around 9:45 p.m. However, investigators believe she may have been taken from her residence in the early hours of February 1st. The timeline of events remains unclear, and no suspects have been publicly identified.

Concerns for Nancy's welfare arose when she failed to attend her usual church service the following morning. Friends alerted her daughter, Annie Guthrie, who then visited the house and discovered her mother missing.
