Ana Maria Henao, a Florida real estate investor, disappeared in Madrid in February 2024 while attempting to start anew amidst a contentious divorce from David Knezevich. Investigators believe Henao is deceased, and the FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to her remains.
Henao was last seen entering her Madrid apartment on February 2, 2024. Security footage later showed a man believed to be Knezevich spray-painting surveillance cameras in her building. He was later arrested and charged with murder, but died by suicide in April 2025, leaving Henao's fate unresolved.
The divorce was reportedly acrimonious, with Henao's brother alleging Knezevich drained millions from their shared real estate portfolio. Knezevich, who had traveled from Miami to Serbia before Henao's disappearance, was captured on security footage buying spray paint similar to that used in the incident.
Despite Knezevich's death, Henao's body has never been recovered. The FBI suspects Knezevich disposed of her remains during his travels through Europe. Her family expressed that Knezevich's death closes a painful chapter but leaves them with unanswered questions about Henao's whereabouts.
