Missing Florida Man's Truck Found 2 Years After Disappearance

On November 9, 2025, authorities announced they had located the work-issued vehicle of a Florida man who had gone missing over a year earlier. Ian Rogers, who was 39 years old when he disappeared, was last seen on August 26, 2024, leaving his mother's home in Crawfordville, Florida.

Rogers' white 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck was discovered in a remote wooded area off Old Plank Road in Leon County, just south of Tram Road. Police have since processed the area and say their investigation into Rogers' disappearance remains ongoing.

Rogers' mother, Teresa, has spoken out about the devastating impact of her son's absence, describing him as "funny" and "kind" and saying it's "like having a treasure and someone stole it, and you don't know where it is." She noted that at the time of his disappearance, Rogers had just been promoted at work and his son was just a day away from turning 10 - something she says he would never have missed.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Rogers' whereabouts to contact the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office. The search for answers in this mysterious case continues.
