Boy Found Deceased, Father Arrested Amidst Explosives

Authorities in Walker County confirmed the discovery of 4-year-old Johnathan Boley's remains a few miles from his Jasper home on Friday morning. The child had been reported missing from his residence along Hwy. 195 earlier in the week. His dog, Buck, was found alive beside him. The investigation into Johnathan's disappearance escalated, leading authorities to his father, Jameson Boley, who was taken into custody on outstanding charges. These include endangerment and unlawful manufacturing of a destructive device, stemming from explosive materials found at the residence. District Judge Allison M. Jones set Jameson Boley's bond at $300,000, deeming him a danger to the community due to the presence of explosives in a home with children. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Johnathan's death remains active.
