Lyndon Akeem Wiggins, 40, has been convicted by a Hennepin County jury for the kidnapping and murder of Monique Baugh, a 28-year-old real estate agent. Baugh was killed on New Year's Eve 2019 after being lured to a home viewing in Maple Grove, Minnesota. She was abducted, shot, and later found dead in an alley.

Wiggins was initially convicted in 2021. However, the Minnesota Supreme Court overturned this conviction in 2024, citing errors in the jury instructions. Following a retrial, Wiggins has now been convicted again and is currently seeking a third trial.

Co-defendants Cedric Berry and Berry Davis were convicted in 2021 and sentenced to life without parole. Elsa Segura, who pleaded guilty in 2024 to kidnapping, received a sentence of 240 months. Baugh's boyfriend also survived an attack the same night.
