During this period, Summers worked at Sapphire Global Services and filed over 400 individual income tax returns using his credentials. He incorporated false business expenses, Sick and Family Leave Credits, Fuel Credits, and Educational Tax Credits to inflate refund amounts for his clients. He faces a potential prison sentence of up to three years and fines of $250,000 per count. His sentencing is scheduled for May 5 by U.S. District Judge Brett Ludwig.
