Man Stabbed to Death After Assault by Neighbor

An inquest is underway concerning the death of Calvin Babatunde, 48, who was fatally stabbed in January 2024. Babatunde's flat in Fen Street, Milton Keynes, became the scene of the incident where he sustained a fatal neck wound.
Before his death, Babatunde had informed the police that he was assaulted by his neighbor. He further disclosed to a friend that the same individual had previously attempted to stab him less than a month before the fatal attack.
Jay Lupton, a man in his 20s also residing on Fen Street, has since admitted to manslaughter. He was consequently subjected to a hospital order last year. The inquest heard that Lupton had been diagnosed with autism and was referred to a specialized service for psychosis.
