Surveillance footage released by the U.S. Department of Justice captures a shocking ₹16 crore ($1.7 million) robbery at Kumar Jewellers. The incident, which took place in June 2025, saw a group of approximately 20 masked suspects storm the Fremont store. In just 70 seconds, they smashed display cases and absconded with a significant portion of the store's gold and diamond inventory.
The robbers arrived in multiple stolen vehicles, complicating identification efforts. Police pursued one of the suspect vehicles, a black Acura, through Fremont's residential streets at high speeds.
