Director Michael Bay has filed a lawsuit against two women he alleges were responsible for significant damage to his Bel Air estate. The incident occurred in September 2016 when a 2016 Cadillac ATS reportedly crashed through the property.
Bay claims that Shayra LaFuente was driving the vehicle under the influence and at an excessive speed. He further alleges that Angelica Silver is liable for permitting LaFuente to drive while inebriated. The lawsuit details extensive damage, including the destruction of parts of his front gate fence, camera system, irrigation pipes, landscaping, and a concrete curb.
According to Bay's suit, the repairs for the damage amounted to over $93,000. He is seeking compensation from both women for the repair costs and other associated damages. Authorities reportedly identified LaFuente using serial numbers from debris found at the scene.
