A dispute over a photograph taken at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant led to a violent machete attack in South Miami. The incident began on November 20th when the victim confronted his girlfriend, Liz Frechel, about an image showing her with another man. The argument intensified the following day when the victim went to Frechel's home to return her belongings.
Frechel reportedly became enraged and locked the victim inside her bedroom. She then retrieved a machete from her closet and attacked him, inflicting a deep laceration to his right elbow while threatening his life. The victim managed to escape and drive himself to the hospital.
Police arrested Liz Frechel at her home on the evening of November 21st. She is facing serious charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, and false imprisonment. Bond was denied for the attempted murder charge, with additional bond set for the other counts.
