A nurse identified as Kerri Smith has been arrested in Miami-Dade for allegedly running an unlicensed post-cosmetic surgery recovery home. The operation, promoted on social media as 'Snatched N Curved', reportedly collected over $200,000 from patients since October 2025. Investigators raided the facility, discovering eight individuals recovering from surgeries and two employees.
Smith is accused of operating an assisted living facility without a license and illegally disposing of medical waste. This marks her second arrest for similar charges, following an earlier apprehension in 2023. Prosecutors cited complaints of overcrowding, pest infestation, and improper handling of medical waste.
During her court appearance, Smith contended she had consulted a professional who advised compliance as long as housing, care, and services were not all provided. The judge ordered her to prove her bond funds did not originate from the recovery home business.
