Residents at The Club at Brickell Bay in Miami are experiencing significant disturbances due to partying Airbnb guests, a situation they have tried to resolve with city leaders for years. Hopes were dashed again when a scheduled inspection by city code compliance inspectors was canceled due to a lack of guaranteed access to private units. This setback affects the remaining full-time residents in a building where approximately 540 of its 643 units are listed on short-term rental platforms, despite not possessing the required city permit for condo-hotel operations.

Homeowners have documented numerous hazardous building code and short-term rental violations, including issues with common areas and subdivided units.
