An arrest has been made in connection with a homicide that occurred on February 15th, where a man was allegedly thrown from a 25th-floor balcony in Miami Beach. The victim, 35-year-old Justin Zelin, a Harvard graduate, was found after a 911 call he made prior to his death.
During the call, Zelin could be heard telling someone named 'Sasha' to leave his home. Investigators identified 'Sasha' as an alias for 37-year-old Corey Hutterli. Sounds of a struggle were audible on the recording after Zelin stopped communicating.
Upon arrival, officers found Hutterli exiting the apartment, exhibiting signs of distress. He claimed Zelin had attacked him. Court proceedings revealed that Hutterli's DNA was found in blood on the balcony and mixed with the victim's DNA on his jacket.
Further evidence found within the apartment included clumps of Hutterli's beard, consistent with an altercation. Hutterli also sustained injuries suggesting a physical struggle.
