Mau Snack Warehouse Torched, Owner Stabbed

In Mau district, a warehouse belonging to a snack factory owner was deliberately set ablaze by a group of miscreants on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred in Dariyabad village under Ghosi police limits. When the owner, Udaybhan, attempted to intervene and object to the arson, he was severely assaulted and stabbed by the perpetrators.
Following the attack, Udaybhan was rushed to Ghosi CHC and subsequently transferred to the district hospital due to his critical condition. Doctors there removed a knife lodged in his abdomen and then referred him to BHU hospital for specialized treatment. His brother, Brijbhan, arrived at the scene after hearing his cries and alerted the authorities.
Based on Udaybhan's complaint, the Ghosi police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against 10 individuals under charges including attempted murder. Police teams have been mobilized and are actively conducting raids to apprehend the accused.
