A masked individual was captured on CCTV brazenly fly-tipping a full truckload of rubbish onto a quiet residential street in Chingford, Essex. The incident occurred shortly after 11:45 AM on a Monday.
Footage reveals the driver, appearing to wear a balaclava, parked a large van and used its tilting mechanism to dump building waste, including wood and trade materials, directly onto the cul-de-sac. The vehicle's license plates had been obscured or removed to prevent identification.
Following the illegal dumping, the driver made a quick getaway without lowering the truck bed. Local residents reported the incident, and efforts were made to identify the source of the waste, but no addresses were found on any boxes.
This incident is part of a pattern of fly-tipping in the region. Previously, a significant pile of dumped waste, including beds and mattresses, blocked a route to nearby High Beach.
