Manju Warrier Slams Actor Rape Case Verdict

Actress Manju Warrier, a key witness, has publicly expressed her dissatisfaction with the Ernakulam district and sessions court's verdict in the actor rape case. She conveyed through a social media post that the survivor has not received full justice, as the individuals who committed the act were punished, but the alleged mastermind behind the crime remains at large.

Warrier emphasized that this situation is deeply unsettling, asserting that justice will only be complete when all parties involved in orchestrating the crime are held accountable. She extended this plea beyond the specific survivor, advocating for the safety and empowerment of all women and girls to live without fear.

This marks Warrier's first public statement on the verdict. Previously, she had raised concerns about a conspiracy angle in the case following the incident in 2017. Notably, she is the ex-wife of actor Dileep, who was acquitted in the case and later alleged a conspiracy against him involving Warrier's earlier statements.
