Man Tortured for Safe Combo: Duo Arrested

Authorities apprehended Austin Michael Maniscalco and Taylor Storm Falcone following a violent home invasion in Elkton, Maryland. The incident came to light on November 4, when deputies discovered an injured 81-year-old man outside a residence. The victim reported being lured to the home by Falcone, where Maniscalco allegedly restrained him, assaulted him, and tortured him to reveal his safe's combination.

During the ordeal, the victim stated Maniscalco tied him to a chair, punched him, held a knife to his throat, and burned him with hot syrup. Maniscalco also allegedly wrote the safe combination on the victim's forehead and marked his chest. The victim managed to escape after Maniscalco fell asleep, leading to the arrests. Both Maniscalco and Falcone are being held without bond in Cecil County.
