In Ahmedabad, a violent incident occurred at the Kankaria football ground on Tuesday night, resulting in the murder of 21-year-old cab driver Chirag Rathod. He was found with a fatal stab wound around 9:45 PM after allegedly being invited to the location to settle a dispute. The victim's brother reported the crime to the Maninagar police.
The dispute reportedly escalated from an earlier quarrel concerning a woman friend and her boyfriend. Chirag's objection to her relationship allegedly led to the confrontation. The boyfriend then contacted Chirag's friend, Nayan, arranging a meeting for a supposed compromise, which tragically turned fatal.
Four individuals—Manthan Parmar, Jaydip Shah, Harshil Shah, and Vijay Parmar—have been named in the complaint. According to the report, the accused were armed with a knife, a sword, and a stick. Chirag was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, leaving his family devastated by the sudden and brutal loss.
