Husband Kills Wife and Friend Over Affair

In Tronica City's Rampark Colony, a 38-year-old man named Rashid allegedly shot and killed his wife, Shabnam, and her close friend, Faheem. The motive appears to be the discovery of a two-year affair between Shabnam and Faheem, coupled with Shabnam's intention to leave Rashid and sell their home. The couple's seven-year-old son is reported to be the sole eyewitness to the brutal double murder. Rashid allegedly used a hidden pistol to shoot them both in the head after a dinner confrontation. He then fled the scene, reportedly telling his son that everything would be fine.

Police have registered a murder case against Rashid, who, along with Faheem, had prior criminal records. Faheem faced multiple charges, including attempt to murder and theft, while Rashid had a previous arrest for theft in 2023. Authorities are currently conducting raids to apprehend Rashid and recover the weapon, which may shed light on whether the murders were premeditated. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, with reports pending, while neighbours confirmed the couple had been married for years and had seven children.
