A tragic incident occurred in Nuh's Baisi where a 23-year-old man, Aakil Khan, was beaten to death. Khan had intervened to stop a fight between two families that had escalated from a children's quarrel.
On Wednesday night, cousins from one family had a dispute that quickly drew in their relatives. Khan, a relative to both sides, attempted to de-escalate the situation by separating the feuding parties. However, his actions angered both families, leading to a violent assault.
He was attacked with rods, sticks, and bricks, sustaining severe injuries including multiple fractures and head trauma. Khan was rushed to PGIMS Rohtak, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
A case has been registered against eight individuals from both families for murder. Police teams are actively conducting raids to apprehend the suspects, with arrests anticipated soon.
