Uangasane Hange, 28, has been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for a series of offenses committed on September 14, 2022. The events began in Knutton, Staffordshire, where Hange fatally struck a dog with his vehicle. Following the incident, a physical altercation ensued between Hange and the dog's owner near Cherry Hill Lane.
During the confrontation, Hange re-entered his vehicle and intentionally drove into the owner. The victim was thrown onto the windshield before falling to the ground but thankfully sustained no serious injuries, according to Staffordshire Police. Hange, residing on Shelton Old Road in Stoke-on-Trent, pleaded guilty to attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and dangerous driving.
