Man's Math Chat Turns Violent: Brutal Attack Leaves Woman Disfigured

A violent incident unfolded when a man approached a woman and initiated a conversation about mathematics and nuclear warfare. Despite the victim's indication of limited knowledge and desire for a brief discussion, the man suddenly punched her in the face. This unprovoked attack caused her to fall to the ground.

The assault resulted in severe injuries for the victim. Her eye was displaced 2mm towards her skull, creating a visible difference between her eyes. She also sustained two broken teeth and now experiences paralysis on the left side of her top lip, cheek, and nostril. Additionally, she has suffered vision loss and has been left with scarring across her face, as well as a lisp.

Following the attack, the man was sentenced to 27 months in prison. The court determined that he was aware of his actions, regardless of his mental state. Upon his release, he will be under the supervision of social workers for a period of 12 months. This sentence reflects the gravity of the severe facial injuries inflicted upon the complainer.
