Predator Jailed 15 Years for Abusing Teens

Alan Wigglesworth, 45, has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for the sexual abuse of two 13-year-old girls. A unanimous jury convicted him of multiple sex offenses after a five-day trial in November 2025. He received his sentence at Grimsby Crown Court, along with a five-year extended license.
Wigglesworth was found guilty of offenses including sexual assault of a child under 13 and causing a child to engage in sexual activity. Humberside Police stated he manipulated and controlled the victims, giving them alcohol and threatening them if they spoke out.
During sentencing, Wigglesworth was also issued a lifetime restraining order against both victims. Authorities commended the victims for their courage and maturity throughout the investigation and trial, acknowledging the lasting trauma they have endured.
