Youth Found Dead in Car, Family Alleges Foul Play

A tragic incident unfolded near the Shahpur toll plaza in Begusarai, where the body of 25-year-old Abhishek Kumar was discovered inside a car on Sunday. Abhishek, who worked as a rented car operator for a telecom company, was reportedly last seen leaving home on Saturday evening to attend a birthday party with friends. His family claims he was lured to the party under false pretenses, possibly related to financial disputes.

According to his mother, Abhishek was forced to consume alcohol and was subsequently assaulted. His father further alleged that sand was stuffed into his mouth and nose after he was made to drink, leading to his death. The family asserts that the accused abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.

Distraught by the events, Abhishek's family staged a protest on Monday, blocking the road outside the Khagaria SP's residence. They vociferously demanded the immediate arrest of the individuals responsible, the sealing of their homes, and compensation for the family. Police officials intervened, assuring a fair investigation and legal action, which eventually led to the protesters lifting the blockade. The exact cause of death awaits the postmortem report, with police preserving viscera for forensic examination and investigating all potential angles.
