In Dhauj, a man named Saddiq alias Shahbaz sustained critical injuries when he was intentionally struck by a Scorpio SUV. The attack, captured on video, shows the vehicle chasing the victim before hitting him and crashing into a house wall, pinning him against it.
Police reports indicate the assault stemmed from a belief that Shahbaz had tipped off a Yamunanagar CIA team about three individuals wanted for theft. After the police departed, the suspects allegedly returned and confronted Shahbaz.
Following an altercation where Shahbaz's family reportedly damaged the Scorpio with stones, the driver, Tahseem, accelerated and rammed into Shahbaz as he attempted to flee. Tahseem has been arrested and is undergoing custodial remand, while efforts continue to apprehend other involved parties.
