Ludhiana Man Critically Injured in Brutal Axe Assault

A violent incident occurred on the Kiratpur-Ner Chowk four-lane in Bilaspur district when a Ludhiana resident was critically injured in a brutal axe attack. The victim, identified as Sunny Gill, 34, was assaulted by unidentified individuals on Wednesday morning around 10 am. He was immediately transported to AIIMS Bilaspur for urgent medical attention and remains under care. Authorities have launched a serious investigation into the matter. Special police teams have been mobilized to pursue and apprehend the perpetrators. The police are actively analyzing CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to gather crucial evidence and are examining other technical leads. An FIR has been filed at the Bilaspur Sadar police station, citing charges under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
