Nail in Head: Man Flees Home After Alleged Family Attack

A 22-year-old man presented himself at a police station in Firozabad, India, with a three-centimetre iron nail lodged in his head. He alleged that his father and brother attacked him while he was asleep due to an ongoing property dispute.
The victim, Sunil Singh, reportedly traveled nearly four kilometers to reach the Narakhi police station to seek help. Officers immediately transported him to a local hospital, from where he was referred to Agra for advanced medical treatment.
In his complaint, Sunil also claimed a previous incident where a nail was driven into his head, with family members allegedly attempting to portray him as mentally unstable. However, his family asserts he struggles with alcohol addiction and has been undergoing de-addiction treatment.
Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the father and brother under relevant sections of the penal code. An official stated that the claims from both parties are being verified, and the victim is in stable condition.
