A tragic incident on Christmas Eve has led to a manslaughter charge. A man was found unresponsive inside The Queen's Head pub in Willington, County Durham.
Despite efforts by paramedics to provide treatment at the scene, the man was pronounced dead. Following an investigation, authorities arrested Martin Ian Greensmith, aged 36, on Christmas Day.
Greensmith, from Crook, has now been formally charged with manslaughter. He is expected to appear before Teesside Magistrates' Court on Saturday as inquiries into the incident continue.
