Headlock, Threats: Man Arrested for Assaulting Student

A man identified as Jack Tyler Laroche has been arrested and charged with abusing a disabled adult following an incident on August 21. Laroche allegedly entered a University of North Florida dormitory bathroom and followed an autistic student into a stall.
According to the police report, Laroche began filming the student for a YouTube video. He then reportedly put the student in a headlock, struck his face causing his glasses to break, and issued a threat. Laroche also allegedly asked for and called the victim's phone number.
When confronted by police, Laroche initially provided a false name and age, claiming to be 'Jack Jones,' 65. He also falsely claimed to be a student. He eventually admitted his real name and stated he was "f***ing around" for YouTube content, a claim the victim refuted.
Laroche now faces charges including abuse of a disabled adult, false imprisonment, and giving false identification. He has since been released on bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on September 14.
