Bhalerao, who had been treated for mental instability for nearly a decade, sustained critical head and facial injuries. He was taken to Bytco Hospital but was declared brought dead. Residents of the area had reportedly complained to the police multiple times about Bhalerao's past behavior, including alleged assaults on passersby. An investigation is underway, with police confirming the cause of death as neck trauma and head injuries. An FIR is being registered against four individuals involved.
