Authorities in Jackson, Tennessee, apprehended a 27-year-old Memphis man on Friday morning in connection with the aggravated rape of a 9-month-old infant. The suspect, identified as Isaiah Hayes, was reportedly wanted for several serious offenses, including sexual exploitation and conspiracy to commit aggravated rape of a child.
Investigators, aided by U.S. Marshals Service agents, successfully located Hayes hiding in an apartment within the Lincoln Courts housing complex. The use of Flock Safety technology was instrumental in identifying a vehicle linked to the fugitive. Hayes was taken into custody without further incident and is currently detained at the Madison County jail, awaiting extradition to Shelby County.
