27 Feb
Summary
- Man arrested for driving slowly past home repeatedly.
- He stared at a photo of the missing woman on his phone.
- Arrest was made on a DUI charge after failing sobriety test.

Authorities apprehended a man near the Arizona residence of Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for nearly four weeks. The individual was observed by reporters repeatedly driving very slowly past the 84-year-old's home, allegedly stopping between 50 and 100 times while looking at a photograph of Guthrie on his phone. The Pima County Sheriff's Department stopped the man for questioning.
He was later arrested on a driving under the influence charge after failing a sobriety test. The search for Nancy Guthrie, last seen on January 31, is ongoing. Her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, recently made an emotional plea, offering a $1 million reward for information leading to her recovery and acknowledging the possibility that her mother may not have survived.
The FBI has begun scaling back its search operations, moving to a command post further from Tucson. Investigators believe Nancy was taken against her will, citing blood drops found on her porch and doorbell camera footage of a suspect. The family has also donated $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
