Abraham Feinbloom was arrested on February 13, 2026, for the murder of 17-year-old T'Neya Tovar. Tovar had been missing from her Hemet, California, home since December 1, 2025. Investigators believe she traveled to the Thermal area to meet an unknown individual, ceasing communication with her family.
During the search for Tovar, a leg exhibiting decomposition was discovered in the Vista Delmar area on December 21, 2025. DNA analysis later confirmed the remains belonged to the missing teen. Following this identification, authorities, including the FBI, executed a search warrant at Feinbloom's Salton City residence.
Feinbloom, 51, was apprehended after attempting to flee. He faces charges of murder and resisting a peace officer and is held without bail. Court records indicate Feinbloom previously faced felony kidnapping charges in Imperial County, which were dismissed in January 2019. His former attorney noted the presumption of innocence in the current case.
