In a significant operation, the district anti-narcotic special action force (Dansaf) team apprehended a 27-year-old man identified as Dipin in Kallambalam on Thursday. Dipin, a resident of Muthana, is a suspect in numerous criminal cases, including charges of attempted murder and drug trafficking.

Acting on confidential information, the Dansaf team intercepted Dipin's car near the Muthana timber mill. Upon noticing the police, he attempted to flee, leading to a brief pursuit. Officers eventually subdued and arrested him, seizing 1.5 grams of MDMA and the vehicle he was driving. The investigation is ongoing to identify his associates and disrupt his drug supply chain.
