A 24-year-old man from Botad district has lodged a police complaint in Bhavnagar, accusing his father-in-law and other relatives of assault and forcibly separating him from his wife. The complaint, filed on Tuesday, details an incident that occurred during a dinner invitation at his in-laws' home.
The complainant, Yash Upadhyay, married Piya, daughter of Parvat Mordiya, approximately one month prior. Their love marriage had initially faced opposition from Piya's family.
