4-Year-Old Raped, Murdered; Family Demands Public Hanging

A devastating incident occurred in Malegaon, Nashik district, where a four-year-old girl was subjected to rape and murder. The child was reportedly bludgeoned to death with a stone in Dongrale village on Sunday. The brutality of the crime has led to outrage, with one person being arrested in connection with the incident.

Following the tragedy, the victim's family gathered at Malegaon General Hospital, making a strong demand for public hanging of the accused. They have refused to claim the mortal remains and proceed with the last rites until their demand for capital punishment is met, causing tension in the area.

In response to the family's protest, protesters blocked a road at Mosam bridge, leading to a temporary disruption that was later defused by the police. State school education minister Dadaji Bhuse engaged with the demonstrators and assured them that justice would be served.
