Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Found Hanging Together

In Mainpuri's Bakhtpura village, a disturbing discovery was made early Saturday morning when a man and his sister-in-law were found hanging from the same tree. The bodies of Akhilesh Kumar, aged 18, and Sarojini, aged 30, were spotted around 4 am by local farmers en route to their fields. Authorities were immediately alerted and transported the bodies for post-mortem examinations.

The pair had reportedly attended a religious event in the village the previous evening and visited a local temple before returning home around 8 pm. They left their residence again around 11 pm and did not return, leading to their tragic discovery hours later.

Sarojini was married, and her husband works out of state. The couple has two children. Investigators have deployed a forensic team to gather evidence from the scene and are utilizing surveillance teams to aid the probe. No formal complaint has been lodged by the family yet, and police stated that further actions are contingent upon the post-mortem results.
