MGK Surprises at Lil Durk's Murder-for-Hire Trial

Machine Gun Kelly made an unexpected appearance at a federal trial for rapper Lil Durk. MGK was observed in a Los Angeles courthouse, listening to the proceedings from an overflow room. This visit comes as Lil Durk remains in federal custody following his arrest in October 2024. He faces serious charges related to an alleged murder-for-hire plot.

Prosecutors contend that Lil Durk orchestrated the alleged plot as retribution for the fatal shooting of his friend, rapper King Von, in 2020. The indictment further alleges that members of Durk's crew targeted rapper Quando Rondo in California in 2022. While Quando Rondo survived the shooting, his cousin, Lul Pab, was killed.

Lil Durk has consistently denied all allegations of wrongdoing. He continues to be held in federal custody as his trial progresses. The unexpected presence of Machine Gun Kelly at the trial brings attention to a past on-stage collaboration between the two artists during a 2023 performance.
