This medical research scientist friend believes doctors initiated a 'petty vendetta' against Letby after she voiced concerns about the quality of care.

The friend articulated her conviction that newly-qualified Letby was wrongly blamed for a series of infant deaths and attempted murders occurring between 2015 and 2016.
