Anshu had initially befriended the victim on Instagram and maintained contact through mobile and social media. The victim's mother reported that Anshu had promised marriage, luring her daughter away.
Following a complaint, police formed a special team that swiftly arrested the four accused. During interrogation, Anshu Gautam admitted that he and his accomplices strangled the girl after an argument and subsequently disposed of her body on the railway tracks. Authorities are pursuing legal action, invoking serious charges such as the POCSO Act.
