Last Sunday, on October 24th, 2025, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Lucknow, Rajeev Krishna, visited the 'Mission Shakti Centre' set up as part of the Mission Shakti 5.0 initiative at the Naimisharanya police station in Sitapur. During his inspection, the DGP reviewed various facilities at the police station, including the office, mess, barracks, and the Cyber Help Desk.
Additionally, the DGP assessed the training status of police personnel stationed at the Mission Shakti Centre. He then chaired a review meeting with the district's gazetted officers to evaluate the progress of the campaign. The DGP emphasized the need for 100% compliance with the zero tolerance policy towards crime and criminals, and directed all personnel at the Mission Shakti Centres to be fully trained through the Integrated Government Online Training (IGOT) portal.
Furthermore, the DGP instructed the Cyber Help Desk personnel to ensure prompt and effective action in all cybercrime-related cases. He also asked officials to expedite the procedures to freeze bank accounts involved in financial or cyber frauds. The DGP directed the cops to ensure timely inspections of all police stations, regularly update station records, and establish direct communication with police personnel to address their grievances promptly.
