Boy's Death Sparks Murder Probe: Father, Stepmother Accused

A tragic incident unfolded in Lucknow's Chowk area, where a four-year-old boy was found dead with suspicious injuries on Thursday. The child's maternal family has lodged a murder case against his father and stepmother, alleging that the boy was subjected to severe torture and ultimately killed.

Relatives reported seeing multiple injury marks on the child's body, including signs consistent with beatings and electric shocks. The FIR, filed by the boy's maternal grandmother, details allegations of regular mistreatment following the father's second marriage after the boy's mother passed away.

Although the child had been living with his maternal family for several years, his father recently gained custody through a court order. The maternal family was alerted to the child's death, initially told he suffered from vomiting and diarrhea, but upon arrival, they discovered the concerning injuries, prompting their suspicion and subsequent police complaint.
