22 Dec
Summary
- Attacker previously assaulted colleague during go-karting rage.
- He was fired from his IT job after aggressive behavior towards superiors.
- Previously served prison time for biting off a sailor's ear.

New details have surfaced regarding Paul Doyle, who was recently jailed for driving into a crowd celebrating Liverpool FC's title win. A former colleague has described Doyle's history of aggressive and violent behavior, casting doubt on claims he had reformed.
During a work social event in the 2000s, Doyle reportedly dragged a colleague out of a go-kart, pinned him against a wall, and screamed in his face after a minor incident on the track. He was later dismissed from his IT role at an engineering firm following complaints about his intimidating behavior towards his line manager.
Further complicating his past, Doyle had previously served 12 months imprisonment 30 years ago for biting off a sailor's ear. The former colleague expressed that Doyle's actions at the Liverpool parade, while shocking, were not entirely unexpected given his known volatile temper.
